Engineering for software that cannot afford to fail.

A team of about eleven engineers and researchers, five of them PhDs. We build core blockchain protocol components, run an on-chain intelligence platform in production, and lead research projects with European labs and law enforcement.

What we do

Three ways to work with us.

One team, one standard of rigour, whether we write your protocol, sell you a product or build a research project with you.

01 · Engineering & review

Critical software, built and reviewed

Consensus, rollups, data availability layers, EVM nodes, compilers and smart contracts. We join your team on the hard parts, or review what you built.

02 · Product

Argos, on-chain intelligence

Trace funds, profile addresses and flag DeFi patterns on Ethereum, with an EVM-generic core. Built for investigators and compliance teams, deployable on your own infrastructure.

In production since 2023

03 · Collaborative R&D

Research projects that ship

We coordinate and deliver funded research with academic labs and industry: national programmes, Horizon Europe, industrial PhDs.

Argos and CryptoACTION

We coordinate the Argos consortium (Tarides, LIP6 Sorbonne Université, LMF Université Paris-Saclay) and lead the crypto-transaction analysis work package of CryptoACTION.

How we work

Rigour is a method, not a slogan.

Every project goes through the same four steps. The last one is reserved for the code where a bug costs real money.

1 · Specify

Write down what the system must guarantee before writing code.

2 · Build with strong types

OCaml and Rust, so that whole classes of bugs cannot compile.

3 · Test adversarially

Fuzzing, load tests, replayed consensus scenarios on real networks.

4 · Prove where it pays off

Example: one of Argos's detection algorithms is mechanically proved in the Rocq proof assistant and runs in production.
